Changes in the Nation War


After the implementation of the Lord of War patch, many things have change, especially in the Nation War.


First thing: The invitation to join the war. This is good because we don’t have to disconnect from a channel and select the Mission Nation War channel. In the new patch, an invitation will appear on the right side asking you if you want to join the war or not. Just by clicking “Join” the system will automatically transfer you from where you are to your nation’s lobby (Tempesta Rosa-Procyon and Spada Brillante-Capella). You still need to have a million alz in your character’s inventory as an entrance fee.


Second: The waiting time in the lobby was reduced from 30 minutes to 10 minutes. Not enough for filling up those SP bars. Nevertheless, in the new patch, additional pots can now be bought in the grocer. This includes SP pots. It is sold in 1’s that costs 100K alz and in 10’s that costs 1M alz. Still, like vital gears, it can only be used when your character is not taking damage from anyone/anything.


In the new patch, dancing in the Tierra Gloriosa is disabled. This means no more ‘dancing tambay’ in the war that almost everyone hate(s) to see during the war.


Third: If you are running out of pots in Tierra Gloriosa, in the new patch, you can now purchase pots (HP,MP and SP) anywhere on the map by pressing “N”. Just make sure you have extra alz in your inventory.


Fourth: Building force towers will not earn you points. Building force towers has been excluded in earning your personal points. Too bad for those mighty morphin’ tower builders and too bad to the nation because almost no one builds tower now after the LoW patch implementation. However, you can still earn points by PK and hitting and destroying guardians. The more damage you give, the faster you can earn points. Remember, always combo for additional damage.


Fifth: For the winning nation, those who were not able to score 30pts (minimum) will receive at least a million alz as long as they have earned some points during the war but there will be no WExp and core cube as these can only be earned when scored 30 points above. For the loosing nation, those scored lower than 30pts will receive a little amount or none at all. Above 30pts will receive an amount equal to what they gave in the war.


Sixth: Cool times for Aura and Battle Mode 1 and 2 were increased from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. I still don’t see the implication of increasing the cool times of the three modes. Just a reminder to those people doing “double BM” (Aura and Battle Mode) as they call it, if both are used, you cannot use it for another five minutes. And don’t use Aura halfway of the BM duration because the Aura will not override the BM duration to full bar.


Other than these, everything remains as is. The success of the Nation remains on everybody’s hands and not solely to one. You cannot ignore the fact that towers do help a lot in the war. Always listen to your commanders (if there are). And when a base needs back-up always be ready to transfer there to assist. You can check the hot grounds by pressing “tab”. And remember; vary your strategy once in a while.

Nation War - Tower Building

Ano bang pwedeng ilagay sa mga panels na nakapalibot sa Omega. They are eight of them.

Umpisahan natin sa eight(8). Pwede maglagay ng resurrection tower dito o di kaya’y warp tower. Kung ako, hindi ko ilalagay ang resurrection diyan sa 1, 2, 3 at 4. Eto kasi ang sitwasyon. Halimbawa nakuha na ng kalaban ang bases E4, next target nila ay S7 tapos Omega na yan. Pag andyan sa 1 or 2 ang resu, sirain lang yan ng mga kalaban. O diba sayang.? Kaya maganda yan sa 8 or 7.

Seven(7). Warp or resu lang yan maganda. Pwede din heal up incase naubusan na ng pots.

Six (6). Kung ala warp sa 8 or 7, pwede ilagay d2 ang warp. Pwede din resu pero kung magbabackdoor ang kalaban, eto ang una nilang sirain para alang magreresu diyan o magwawarp. Sayang naman. Maganda attack tower para me damage naman ang base sa kalaban. At tulong na rin sa inyo na nagdedefend.

Five(5). Same lang sa 6. Pero additional damage talaga ang attack tower. Pwede din defense up, attack up or heal up. Ung mga debuff pwede potable towers na lang.

Three(3) and Four(4). Pang support sa base. Pwede attack towers lang. Ang damage kasi ng 3 abot sa area papuntang S7. Pareho din kung attack tower nasa 8. Sakop ang area papunatang base ng kalaban. At pwede din pang-atake sa mga kalaban galing Center at nagshoshort cut papuntang Omega.

One(1) and Two(2). Attack towers lang pang support sa mga nagdedefend. Pwede din increase defense or attack incase madaming kalaban dumating diyan galing E4. Eto kasi usual na nangyayari. Nakukuha lahat nang bases naiiwan na lang ay ang main base pati omega.

Ung mga pang-debuff na towers, pwede portable towers na lang.



Alpha Front

If ever nakuha niyo eto:

One (1) and Two (2). Resu and Warp. Malayo sa mga kalaban na galing N11. Hindi nila ito basta magagalaw. Resurrection tower para mabilis ang spawning at madedefend ang base kung kinakailangan. Warp para mabilis pagtransfer mula sa ibang base. Eto talaga mga usual para mabilis dumating sa mga lugar na kailangan idefend. Lalo na yung sa Center.

Three (3). Pwede Resu din d2 para dalawa na. Minsan kasi umabot na sa limit ang isang resu kailangan mo pa maghintay ng ilang segundo para magamit ito. At ang Alpha ay malayo sa base kung san me resu. Maganda na d2 mabilis ang spawning.

Four(4). Support sa base. Attack tower lang maganda dito. Abot nito ang area papuntang N11.

Five (5) and Six(6). Pwede pang support sa mga allies. Attack towers, heal up, defense up, attack up. Wag na ung mga mga pang-debuff. Portable na lang sa mga ito.

Seven (7). Support lang eto. Attack tower. Sakop ang area papuntang N11

Eight (8). Pwede heal up or attack tower. Daanan din eto ng mga galing sa Center. Attack towers panghina sa kalaban.

Ung mga pang-debuff na towers, pwede portable towers na lang.

One(1). Pang support ang location nito. Pwede Attack tower, defense up, attack up. Sakop nito ang area galling W8 at ung area galling sa baba (o S7/alpha)

Two(2). Pang-support din. Attack tower maganda. Warp pwede din.

Three(3). Opposite sa entrance ng mga kalaban mula W8. Maganda dito magtayo ng Resurrection tower. Resu lang talaga kasi malayo na pag S5 pa ang resu point.

Portable Towers na lang ibang towers.

One (1). Opposite sa entrance mula Center. Maganda dito Resurrection Tower.

Two (2) and Three(3). Pangsupport ang location nito. Attack tower, heal up, defense up, attack up maganda dito. 2 is the best location for attack tower kasi sakop nito ang area mula Center at mula din sa W9. Pang hina sa mga kalaban na malapit sa base. Sakop naman ng 3 ang area galling E4 at ung area papuntang center.

Ung mga pang-debuff na towers, pwede portable towers na lang.

One (1). Attack tower. Panghina sa mga kalaban mula sa Center. Pwede din heal up, defense up at attack up. Abot naman ang range nito hanggang sa kabilang wall lang except ung heal up, kailangan malapit ka sa tower..

Two (2). Opposite sa entrance ng mga kalaban. Resurrection tower maganda dito. Kung hinde, since malapit lang ang W8, ung resu na lang dun gamitin. Support towers na lang ilagay d2. Pwede din warp or attack tower.

Three (3). Best location for Attack tower. Since sakop nito ang area mula Center at ung area sa taas ng base.

Ung mga pang-debuff na towers, pwede portable towers na lang.


Smaller Bases

One(1). Hindi magandang lugar para sa isang Resu Tower. Mas maganda kung warp tower na lang ilagay.nasa Center, magandang lugar na eto kaysa dun pa sa loob ng main base mag-warp-in (yan ay kung meron itinayong warp tower sa loob ng main base. Pano kung wala). Minsan kasi, nakakalimutan maglagay ng warp tower sa loob kaya nadedelay ang pagpunta sa main base dahil nga alang warp. Maganda na rin kung sa S7 ay maglagay ng warp. Kung sakaling me bumackdoor na kalaban galing alpha at kayo’y

Three(3). Unahan ko ang S5. Resu tower in case ang kalaban ay nasa E4 na, mabilis ang spawning kaysa sa omega pa magResu. Pwede din attack tower- panghina sa mga kalaban galing E4.

Two(2). In case na nakuha ng kalaban ang S5, me resu pa din na malapit dito kung gusto niyong bawiin ang S5.

Ung mga pang-debuff na towers, pwede portable towers na lang.


Center

In case nakuha niyo ang Center:

One(1). Attack tower. Abot ang damage sa mga galing E4.

Two(2). Attack Tower. Para dun sa magbabackdoor.na galling W8. Suporta lang naman. Pwede din ilagay diyan ng Warp or Resu Tower.

Three(3). Una, pwede maglagay ng Resu tower diyan. Kahit na meron na sa 2. One of the two can support yung isa kung ang isa ay umabot na sa limit. Pangalawa, pwede buff type na tower in case may magbabackdoor mula W9.

Four(4). Support panel ang position na eto. Attack Tower pwede ilagay diyan. Sakop ang range nito sa mga kalaban na galing W9 at ung mga galing sa taas ng Center.

Five(5) and Six(5). Support tower din ang position nito. Attack Tower lang dito. Sakop na ng 5 ang area sa taas at ung galing W9. Sakop ng 6 ang area sa taas at ung papuntang E4. Panghina talaga ang position nila.

Seven(7) and Eight(8). Alam na. Attack tower lang. 8 is a good position for buff type tower pero hindi ung heal up (masasayang ang lugar). Pwede defense up or attack up.

Ung mga ibang towers na buff type, portable na lang. And always remember, pag mas madami tayo tower sa isang lugar, mas konti o walang towers ang kalaban na pwede ilagay.



Eto ang general rule na ginamit ko sa guide na eto:


  • Always build Resurrection Towers opposite to the enemies (that is, if the enemy’s entrance to the base is on the right, build it on the left).
  • Attack Towers are best built near the enemies (that is, if the enemies entrance to the base is on the right, build the tower on that side of the base). If there are two entrance to the base, build the tower on the intersection of the two roads/ways (so that the tower’s use is maximized).
  • Warp stands like a resurrection tower. So, it is best built opposite to the enemies. For three-paneled bases, prioritized on resurrection tower first before building any attack or buffing/debuffing towers.
  • Buffing/Debuffing Towers are best built on the enemy’s side. It is best that buffing/debuffing are built out of portable FT panels and leave the stationed panels for Resurrection, warp and attack towers.

At laging tandaan, ang “push” ay hindi ibig sabihin na PK. Ang push, tulad nang diniscuss (click here for the post) ko ay ang pagsira sa Guardian ng base.

Mas Ok kung magbuild by alz na lang kung ala talaga points na pwedeng gamitin. Babalik lang naman ang gastos pag nanalo ang inyong nation.
